Silk.net: New Testament Crossword Puzzles
http://www.silk.net/RelEd/crossword.htm

Suitability – primary & lower secondary school students

As the new school year begins, it is the perfect time to introduce students to Scripture with these fun crossword puzzles based on passages from the New Testament. All of the documents are in PDF format and can be downloaded and printed for your use in the classroom or parish setting. There are seven crosswords from the Gospel of Mark, covering Jesus’ call of the disciples by the sea of Galilee to the Transfiguration. Teachers and catechists might like to read the relevant Scripture passages to their students, break open some of the themes and the significant events of the passage before inviting students to complete the related crossword puzzle. Word search puzzles are also available on the web site, covering themes including the Lord’s Prayer and the Rosary.
